Who’s ready for an easy candy recipe for St. Patrick’s Day this year? If you can use a microwave, you have what it takes to make this Simple St. Patrick’s Day Bark recipe. That’s right! Minimal skills are required to make this tasty treat with layers of vanilla, chocolate and Oreo cookies. Interested? I thought you’d be!

Don’t be fooled by the green swirls on this St. Patrick’s Day Bark, because this recipe is mint free. Traditionally you see a lot of mint-flavored St. Patrick’s Day treats, but since my hubby doesn’t like mint I had to come up with a recipe without it. Don’t worry…it still tastes great to me, and I bet you’ll agree!

Ingredients you will need for this recipe:

  • 24 oz. package of Vanilla Flavored Almond Bark
  • 24 oz. package of Chocolate Flavored Almond Bark
  • 1 package of Oreo Thins Cookies
  • Green food coloring

Recipe instructions:

Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Melt the chocolate flavored almond bark following the directions on the package. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly onto cookie sheet. Add a layer of Oreo Thins, spacing them evenly and pressing them slightly into the chocolate. Place in refrigerator until set.

Use a knife to create a swirl pattern by dragging the knife up and down, pressing slightly into the melted candy, in the opposite direction of the green stripes.
