I can’t believe another month has passed by so quickly and it’s already time for another edition of The Guys Behind the Blog! I’ve had so much fun already participating in this series, and I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know my other half a little better.
Errik is the muscle and brains behind a lot of the projects that you see on the blog, especially those requiring wood, screws and hand tools. I just love it when I ask him for help with a project I’m planning and he says, “I can do that!” We have a lot of fun brainstorming and working together on projects, and I’m happy to share him with you today. Let’s see what we can learn about the guy behind Sparkles of Sunshine this month!
What is your favorite family tradition?
Errik: Watching Dr. Suess’s How the Grinch stole Christmas every year.
Christie: Why?
Errik: It’s awesome. I like the dog, Max.
Who’s your male celebrity crush?
Errik: What??? I don’t have one.
Christie: There’s not a male celebrity that you really like??
Errik: Nope…next question?
What song best sums you up?
Errik: Happy Boy by the Beat Farmers
Christie: You are a happy boy since you’re married to me, so that makes perfectly good sense.
What three things do you think of the most each day?
Errik: (Silent)
Christie: Errik???
Errik: I’m looking up Happy Boy on my phone, I want to hear the song.
Christie: Will you answer the question, please?
Errik: OK, OK. I think about work, work and my lovely wife Christie…
Christie: (Smile)
Errik: ….and the work she has lined up for me.
Christie: (Frown) Oh, really?? I think I have a few more things to add to the list now.
What is your most embarrassing memory?
Errik: Why would I want to put that on the Internet for everyone to see?
Christie: Good question. So what is an embarrassing memory you’d like to share on the Internet?
Errik: I don’t know…I guess the time when I gave myself a haircut and accidentally left a rat tail in the back.
Christie: How did you find out about it?
Errik: I went to work and one of the guys asked me what was going on with my new haircut.
Christie: Hmmm…is that the time someone asked you how I could let you go to work looking like that?
Errik: Yes!
Christie: Oops…sorry…(Bwahahahahaha).
That’s all for May, but be sure to mark your calendars and come back to see what he has to say next month. Thanks so much for stopping by today to learn more about my guy behind the blog, Errik.
He is so to the point, it cracked me up! Bad haircuts always make for great embarrassing stories. And that he was looking up his favorite song while you were trying to ask another question, ha!
Yes, my hubby is a man of few words, so I try to drag as much out of him as possible. And him looking up the song on his phone while I’m asking him a question is a classic Errik move. I’m pretty sure this happens at least once a day! LOL 🙂
He is too funny. We watch how the Grinch Stole Christmas too! That and Rudolf and Frosty..we love our old time holiday movies! I get so excited to watch them every Christmas!!!
OMG that song makes me laugh, i have not heard it in forever. I find it so funny that that is the song he thought about to describe himself lol. Does he listen to that kind of music daily haha.
No, he doesn’t, thank God. That song is ridiculous to me, but once you get it in your head it’s hard to get it out!! LOL
