Who is ready for an inspirational free printable today?? I thought you might be interested! Today I’m inspiring you to create your own sunshine, so get ready to get pumped with a little pep talk from yours truly.
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” It’s a phrase meant to encourage those going through hard times to keep going. I’ve always liked the meaning, but since I’ve never been one to follow the crowd I like to say it a little differently. Instead, I like to say, “When life gets a little cloudy, it’s time to create your own sunshine.”
[clickToTweet tweet=”‘When life gets a little cloudy, it’s time to create your own sunshine.’ ” quote=”‘When life gets a little cloudy, it’s time to create your own sunshine.’ “]
Both phrases are meant to inspire you to look optimistically towards the future despite your future circumstances. To incite you to make something good from the bad experiences of your life.
So, how can you create your own sunshine for your life? Here are a few simple ways you can stay positive when things aren’t going your way.
- Be thankful. Expressing gratitude for what you do have is an easy way to forget about what you don’t have.
- Do something for someone else. Get your mind off yourself and your problems and do something nice for someone else. It’s a distraction that will bless both you and the recipient.
- Keep your dreams alive. No matter what life throws at you, don’t give up on your dreams. Find another way to make them happen and think of it as a detour, not a dead end.
