Who’s ready for a simple, tasty, healthy treat? This triple berry parfait gives you delicious flavor…times three! If that doesn’t sell you on giving this tasty treat a try, the fact that it’s super simple to make should!
So I know I normally entice you with sugar and calorie packed treats like my Malted Milk Brownies or Homemade Butterscotch Kit Kat Bars, but today I thought I’d switch things up a bit. That’s right, today we’re going a different route with a healthy treat recipe. Just one bite of this Triple Berry Parfait and you’ll never want to pick up a brownie ever again! OK, I know that’s probably not true, but one can only hope, right?
When I’m good to my body and eat right by limiting my sugar intake, it’s amazing how sweet a dessert like this one could taste to me. These berries are both sweet and tart at the time time. Add yogurt to the mix and you have a low calorie treat that’s packed with flavor AND goodness. Sound good to you? I thought you’d agree, so I’m sharing the simple recipe with you today. I say simple because all it takes is spooning these ingredients into a pretty glass. You can even have the hubby or kids help you with this one! This recipe will make 2 parfaits.
Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- Garnish- mint leaf
Recipe directions:
1. Rinse all fruit and pat dry with paper towel.
2. Line the bottom of 2 parfait glasses with blackberries.
3. Spoon 1/2 cup yogurt on top of the blackberries.
4. Layer 1/2 cup blueberries on top of the yogurt.
5. Spoon remaining yogurt on top of the blueberries.
6. Top parfait off with a layer of raspberries.
7. Garnish with a mint leaf is desired.
