Easy DIY Rosemary Mint Sugar Scrub Recipe

I love a good sugar scrub…especially during the winter.  The dry, cooler temperatures wreak havoc on my skin, so a good scrub really comes in handy! I use one at least once a week to keep my skin smoother by getting rid of dry, flaky skin.  Today’s easy DIY rosemary mint sugar scrub is guaranteed to get your skin smooth after just one use.

Easy DIY Rosemary Mint Sugar Scrub at Sparkles of Sunshine

Although I love the scrubs found at stores like Bath and Body Works, Ulta and Sephora, I don’t always have the money to splurge on this luxury.  Not to mention, there are all kinds of ingredients I can’t even pronounce in many of the scrubs found in stores.  No, thank you!  I’d rather make my own and know what I’m putting on my body.  How about you?

Yes, making your own sugar scrubs at home really is the smartest way to smoother skin.  Today I’m sharing with you my Easy DIY Rosemary Mint Sugar Scrub recipe.  I really love the scent of this scrub, but what I really love is how soft your skin will be after you use it.  The coconut oil in this recipe will leave your skin moisturized and smooth.  Guaranteed!

Would food coloring leave a green tint? Just curious I haven’t made any before. Thanks!

No, it won’t leave a green tint on your skin. I tried it out and didn’t turn into a leprechaun. 🙂 You can leave it out if you wish, though. It’s really just for looks. Thanks so much for stopping by!
