It seems like I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately, but what can I say? An icy, sweet, tangy smoothie is a great treat to enjoy on hot, summer days. There’s just something uplifting about the taste of a smoothie that energizes my body, mind and soul and gives me the jolt I need to get things done. Previously I shared recipes with you for a cantaloupe smoothie and a banana nutella smoothie, but today I thought we’d go a bit tropical. Put on those sandals and sunglasses because this pineapple mango smoothie is going to take you to a tropical island…at least in your mind!
Ingredients you’ll need to make this smoothie:
- 4 oz Pineapple, crushed
- 1 whole fresh or 1 cup frozen Mango, cut into chunks
- 1 cup Milk
- ½ cup Sugar (or as desired)
- ½ cup Condensed Milk
- Ice (As desired, but I usually use 6-8 cubes)
Directions to make a Pineapple Mango Smoothie:
- Place all ingredients together in a blender and blend well.
- Taste the smoothie for sweetness. Add sugar until you reach desired sweetness.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Want to take this pineapple mango smoothie up a notch? Substitute the ice cubes in this recipe with frozen coconut water cubes for an added tropical twist you are sure to love!
