I recently had a case of the sniffles and found myself reaching for my tissue box often. Although you can purchase tissues with decorative boxes, I couldn’t help but notice how plain mine looked. It needed to be dressed up a little. Since cold weather makes me grab my yarn and crochet needle more often than not, that’s how I decided to do it. I dressed it up with some colorful yarn and I must admit, it made reaching for a tissue a little more cheerful. I can’t help but smile when I look at this tissue box!!
I bet you want one, too. If so, you’re in luck. Today I’m sharing the free crochet pattern with you so you can make one, too. Or make a few of them. With allergy season just around the corner, this tissue box cover would make a perfect gift for your friends and loved ones. I have a feeling I’ll be making a few more of these in the near future!
This cover fits snugly onto any standard box shaped tissue box. Just stretch it a bit to pull it down over the sides of the box.
Now just look at these two tissue boxes. Which would you rather look at on your bedside table, desk or counter? I know which one I’ll choose!!
