Today’s recipe is for an easy DIY relaxation oil to help calm your nerves on those busy days when you start to feel stressed. The aromatic scents of lavender and peppermint in this recipe have been known to promote a relaxed feeling and gently soothe away tension. So let’s make this easy DIY relaxation oil so we can melt the stress away today!
To make this simple relaxation oil you will need the following:
- 1 Tsp. Carrier Oil (Apricot, Almond, Grapeseed, Jojoba or Olive Oil. I used Apricot.)
- 10 Drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
- 10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
- Glass Roller Bottle (You can purchase a similar one here.)
To make this easy DIY relaxation oil, all you have to do is add the oils to the glass roller bottle and shake gently to mix. This is the basic recipe, so you will need to multiply the ingredients to fit whatever size bottle you are using.
To use: Rub a small amount of oil onto your temples, back of neck and behind your ears and inhale.
