While the National Day of Unplugging for 2017 has come and gone, it doesn’t mean we have to go back to pressing full steam ahead. No, there is always room for unplugging in our lives. In this fast paced world where schedules are full, people are busy and stress is high, there’s a greater need to unplug and unwind every now and then more than ever.
It’s easy to lose connection with our spouses, family and friends with all the responsibilities and obligations each day brings us. We come home from work tired, stressed, looking for something to occupy our minds so we can forget about it all. It’s easy to get lost in an app, your favorite television show or video game. Before you know it, it’s been weeks or maybe even months since you’ve had some true, quality time with your spouse. It’s time to bring back date night, friend. Yes, it’s time to disconnect to reconnect!
My hubby and I were recently in the need of some alone time and came up with the perfect date night idea – a trip to Pinot’s Palette! We had so much fun and left relaxed and ready for the day ahead. Now, if you haven’t heard of Pinot’s Palette before, let me introduce you.
Pinot’s Palette is a fun place where you can go to learn to paint while you sip. They host painting classes for any skill level, making it a great choice not just for date night but birthdays and girl’s night out, too! It’s a laid back environment where you can listen to music, enjoy beverages, and learn to paint step by step. We felt welcomed and comfortable upon our arrival and during our time at Pinot’s Palette. The 3 hour class really flew by!
There’s no need to bring any art supplies with you to class because the class fee includes them all. The instructors are great at walking you through each painting and you’ll be surprised at just how easy it is to create a beautiful piece of artwork. You’ll even have a wonderful memory from your date night to take home with you and hang on your wall. It doesn’t get much better than that!
The hubby and I had a blast at our excursion to Pinot’s Palette. It was a few hours away from the craziness of life. A time to disconnect from our devices and other distractions and have a really fun time fostering our creative side and creating a really fun memory. We enjoyed our date night so much we plan on doing it again. Next time we may step it up a notch and try something a little more challenging!
Tell me, are you ready to join Pinot’s Palette and Disconnect to Reconnect? Bring back date night and reconnect in a meaningful and fun way this week. With classes throughout the week and weekend, you’re sure to find a class that works for you. Trust me, you’ll be so glad you did! Learn more here.
Thoughts and prayers your way girl ❤️
