Whether you’re partying at home with family or going to a friend’s house to celebrate, you will want to have a batch of these tasty Vanilla Cream Cheese Cupcakes. Made from scratch, they are worth every effort it takes to make them.

Treat yourself with this tasty recipe for Vanilla Cream Cheese Cupcakes, guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Vanilla Cream Cheese Cupcakes Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

Cupcake Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high for 30 seconds.
  4. Now add sugar, and vanilla to the butter and beat until combined.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, beating on low speed until mixed well.
  7. Fill the cupcake pan liners 2/3 with cake batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  9. Remove cupcakes from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before frosting.

Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter
  • 1/2 c softened cream cheese
  • 3 c powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 3 tbs heavy whipping cream

Frosting Directions:

  1. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, vanilla bean paste and cream cheese on high speed until fluffy.
  2. Add 3 cups of sugar, one at a time mixing well after each addition.
  3. If frosting looks like crystals, add the whipping cream.
  4. Mix well, scraping the sides to get all the sugar incorporated. Mix until the frosting is stiff and doesn’t fall off the whisk when it’s lifted.
  5. Pipe the cupcake using a star tip and top with edible pearls for garnish.
