I am so excited to share today’s post with you. In fact, I couldn’t wait to share these with you ever since I laid my eyes on them! I thought this was the most thoughtful but practical gift idea ever, and I just knew you would think so, too!
My husband and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday with his family in Illinois this year. Errik’s parents and siblings live in South Dakota, and we live in North Carolina, so we decided to meet halfway and spend our holiday with his extended family there. His Aunt Mari and Uncle Keith were kind enough to host us during our stay. They provided us and 4 other adults with a nice place to stay while we visited with the family. That can be a houseful during the holidays, especially when you’re planning and hosting a meal for 30 people!
When we arrived and were shown our room, I was so thrilled to find these adorable personalized guest towels waiting on our bed. They are super soft and beautiful, and the embroidery is impeccable! At first, I assumed these had been ordered, but I was amazed that his Aunt Mari embroidered these herself. She did such a great job, and it made us feel so welcomed into her home to have our very own towels! Don’t these towels look great?
What I love most about this idea is that I had no trouble recognizing my towel during our stay. With 6 adults taking showers throughout the weekend in the same bathroom, that’s a miracle! Isn’t this the best idea ever? Wouldn’t you love to have a personalized towel greeting you for your stay away from home this holiday season?
My favorite part was packing these and bringing them home with us! Now every time we use them at our home, we can remember the wonderful time we had spending Thanksgiving with them. Do you have guests coming to stay for Christmas or New Years? If so, consider giving them this gift that will keep on giving, long after their stay with you.
I would like to take this time to thank Mari and Keith for a wonderful stay during our visit, for these lovely towels and for allowing me to share them with you. We were so thankful to spend time with so many of Errik’s entire family during our stay with them, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. Best of all, we were able to meet the sweetest baby ever, our niece Kordelia. We feel so blessed to have spent time with everyone and had a great Thanksgiving holiday. Thanks again!
