Even though it’s still blazing hot here in North Carolina, stores are making way for their fall merchandise. Believe it or not, I walked into my local Sam’s Club this week and they already had Christmas ribbon for sale!! I can’t believe they are pushing for Winter and cold weather. Me? I love the heat, and nothing says hot weather quite like a beautiful pair of flip flops. Lucky for you, many stores have flip flops on clearance now, so hurry up and stock up. I’ll show you how to make those babies look stylish!
I love the Lion Brand Yarn website, and have found many useful patterns there. Their patterns are free, but you do have to register to access them. I actually like it that way, because it keeps track of the patterns you’ve viewed for easy access later. You can also download them onto your computer/device. Since I like to crochet on long road trips while my husband drives, I love having access to my patterns when I’m on the go!
