Having trouble knocking tasks off of your to do list? This this FREE PRINTABLE is for you! This is not your average to do list, though. It’s time to see how much easier it is to get things done when you set a goal date for your tasks.
Do you have tasks around you home that you need to get done? I know I sure do! When I was deep cleaning my home recently, I ran across several tasks that are still on my list of things to do. Things I can’t get knocked off my list no matter how hard I try it seems. Let’s see… from the kitchen cupboards I want to reorganize to the new paint job in my bonus room upstairs, there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to get the things done that I want to. As much as I hate to admit it, I’m sure it’s been two years now since I said I would stain the bed frame my husband made for me, which never got done. I decided six months ago I wanted to repaint the nightstands in our bedroom and yep, you guessed it, no change there either.
Life can be busy, so it’s easy to put things off when we are overwhelmed with responsibilities and tasks. Yes, I know I’m not the only one that can have trouble getting things done because it took my husband 6 months to take care of the damage from the infamous wax accident in my kitchen. (I guess I can’t say too much about that, though, since it is finally done…unlike my list of projects.)
As I was contemplating why it was taking me so long to get these tasks done, I realized the answer was right in front of me. I needed to set goal dates to my tasks. That’s right! Goal setting is a powerful way to accomplish what you want in life, whether it be in your career, marriage, education, or in this case, around your home. There’s just something about seeing a goal date that gets me super motivated to get things done. That’s why I’ve created this awesome new free printable to help me get more things done, and I bet it’s going to work for you, too.
