I’ve always been an avid reader, ever since I was a little girl. I attribute it to all the books my mother read to me when I was a child. Let’s just say that with one glance at her book collection, you’ll know the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Reading has always been one of my favorite past times and although my taste in books may change, one thing has always remained.

Books transport me to another place, another time, another life.

If you find your life boring and need to spice it up, I recommend choosing a book to read. Reading a book takes your mind off whatever’s going on in your life and takes you to another place where you can find comfort, excitement, joy or even heartache depending on the read. I think this quote from Dr. Seuss says it perfectly, “You can find magic where you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.”
