I know it’s nearly impossible to step into a retail stores these days and not see an adult coloring book somewhere on a shelf. As much as I’d love to, I haven’t been able to convince myself to pay the price tag on one for myself. Seriously, I remember buying coloring books for $1, not $10! Maybe you feel the same way? If so, you’re in for a treat today. I’m sharing with you these summer inspired free coloring pages with Bible verses that I created. Yay!
It seems like adult coloring has become the latest craze these days. I don’t know why it’s just dawned on us that kids have all the fun and we should take time from our busy schedules to enjoy life, too, but I’m glad we’re finally coming around. Life is too short to spend it buried in tasks, obligations and responsibilities. Now, I’m not telling you not to be responsible, I’m just saying it’s important to play as hard as you work. A friend taught me that life mantra, and it’s one that I’ve chosen to live by.
I’ve seen coloring books everywhere, but since I’ve a DIY person at heart, you know I had to create my own! I found some cool graphics online that just screamed summer to me and I was instantly inspired. I added a few Bible verses because we can all use a little reminder from scripture, can’t we? What a great way to practice memorizing scripture while relaxing in a beautiful world of color!

These are so cute! I noticed though, when you print the ice cream one, the word “are” is there twice (they are are sweeter than honey). It doesn’t look that way in the image you click, but it does in the actual print. I didn’t even realize it until I finished coloring!
