Do you need to add a little bit of Easter decor to your home, but you don’t have money to spend? Then you are in the right place, my friend, because today I’m offering you a FREE printable for Easter. All you have to do is click, print and put this beautiful print in a frame. Simple enough, right? Oh, did I mention there are four different colors to choose from?
Easter is my favorite holiday. It’s not because I like bunnies, chicks, and pastels. It’s not even because I can easily find a surplus of Cadbury Eggs, Peeps and Mighty Malts Malted Milk Eggs in the candy aisle during this time of year. Although those are very valid arguments as to why Easter is considered an awesome holiday to many, it’s not the real reason I love to celebrate Easter. To me, it’s something much, much more.
You see, the real reason Easter is my favorite holiday is because I am a Christian. I love Easter because I love celebrating the resurrection of my Lord Jesus Christ. All my hope is in Him, and I am so thankful for His sacrifice and the promise of eternal life that I have in Him. So today I thought I’d share a free printable for Easter to remind us of the true reason we celebrate Easter each year.

The scripture on this free printable for Easter comes from the book of Matthew in the Bible:
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. (Matthew 28:1-9 NIV)
I pray you have a blessed Easter holiday as you take time to remember the true reason we celebrate Easter each year. Happy Easter, friends. He’s risen!
