Quick and Easy Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 beer 12 oz at room temperature

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine flour and sugar in a medium sized bowl.
  • Add the beer and beat less than 20 times to mix. Do not overmix!
  • Pour into a lightly greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
  • Allow the bread to cool prior to cutting.

Notes

You may add raisins to the batter if desired.
