If you’re looking for a simple Christmas decor project that you can make in under an hour, then today’s your lucky today. These Wine Cork Christmas Trees are not only oh-so-cute, but they are super simple to make, too!
Today I thought I’d share with you a simple holiday decoration you can make for your home in just minutes. Isn’t that so like me? You know I love simple and easy projects, right? So when I looked at the stash of wine corks a friend had given me for crafting, I decided to make some Christmas trees with them. you only need a few items to complete this easy Christmas craft.
Here is all you’ll need for this project:
- wine corks
- paint
- hot glue gun/glue sticks
First, arrange your corks into the shape of a Christmas tree. It is best to use corks that are uniform in shape and size so your tree will be evenly shaped. I chose to make two trees in different sizes for my home.
Once your shape is complete, paint the end of each cork with your desired paint. I love this Home Decor Chalk Paint by Fork Art. I have used it in several colors on many projects this year, and it does not disappoint!
Once the paint is dry, use the hot glue gun to glue the corks together to form the Christmas Tree shape. You can then finish decorating your trees as you like.
I added a gold star to the top of one of my trees, then draped a string of Pom-Pom yarn around it to serve as a garland. I decided to use a paint pen to add letters to my other tree to make it a little more festive. Use your imagination to create a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree of your own! You could add beads, jingle bells, glitter…whatever you wish to bring out the holiday spirit in your home.
These Wine Cork Christmas trees make such a cute addition to my holiday decor. Don’t you agree? These would make a great gift, also. Best of all, these are simple and easy to make, and would make a quick afternoon project. I hope I’ve inspired you today to make some Wine Cork Christmas Trees of your own. If you do, don’t forget to send me a picture!

How cute! I am so not creative and I don’t drink wine, so I don’t think I can make these, LOL – but it’s a great idea! 🙂
