Decorating my home for Christmas this year was really difficult. In fact, Christmas is now less than 2 weeks away and I still have some finishing touches that need to be done to my holiday decor! I usually love decorating my home for the holidays and have it done before Thanksgiving, but this year I was dragging my feet because of one simple fact. Many of my walls were bare. Yes, my naked walls were in desperate need of artwork. It’s really hard to decorate for the holidays when you have empty walls! You see, this year I had a year busy fall season. First of all, I was super busy doing some redecorating and deep cleaning around the house. Add a week of vacation, a visit to Illinois to visit family, and three other short stays away from home in less than two months and you know exactly why I hadn’t gotten around to putting the much needed artwork up on my walls!
To be completely honest with you, another reason I hadn’t gotten around to the task was because I didn’t have anything to put up in the first place. While I was redecorating, I decided to get rid of a lot of my old art pieces and sold them at our church yard sale. I’d been on the hunt for new artwork, but nothing had really caught my eye. That’s until I discovered the awesome art collection at Minted.com.
Have you ever visited Minted.com? They have an awesome collection of holiday cards and stationary products, but it’s their art prints that really steal the show for me! There are some really great limited edition pieces, custom photo art prints, and beautiful foil-pressed art prints to choose from. Today I thought I’d share with you some of the art pieces on my current wish list. I’m trying to decide which I should order, so maybe you can help me decide? Let’s see!I love this Minnesota Love Location Print that can be personalized with your own personal photos. My husband proposed to me in this wonderful state, so I think this would make a wonderful art piece in our home. There are many other states in the collection, too, so be sure to check out Minted.com to see if your favorite state is available.
What can I say? I love cows. My dad raised cattle while I was growing up, so I’m used to having them around. Now with this Pawnee Print, I can bring the farm into my home, but with no mess!
I feel so blessed to have freedom and live in the USA. This United States Map Filled Print really makes our country shine! I love all types of birds, but since my grandmother loved hummingbirds, they have a special place in my heart. I love the muted colors in The Humbly Hummingbird Print.
Who doesn’t love chevrons? Chevrons are so popular now, and I love this the pops of color in the modern Dirty Chevron Print.
Yellow reminds me of the beautiful sunshine. This Love Builds Print is bright and cheerful and serves as a great reminder that love is what matters most in life.
What do you think of the Minted.com prints on my wish list? It was so hard to narrow this down to a short list, because there are so many beautiful pieces of art to choose from! Be sure to check out Minted.com to see what prints you’d choose for your own home. I’d love to know which print is your favorite.
So although I quickly slapped some of my old artwork on my walls to get through the holiday decorating season this year, I am looking forward to receiving my new artwork from Minted.com so I can start the new year off in style. Now all I have to do is decide which prints to order…
