What is it about the new year that gets us motivated to change our lives? It’s like we’ve been in hibernation, dreaming with no action all year long. Then all of a sudden when the ball drops on New Year’s Eve we’re reminded that we haven’t achieved what we wanted to in life. We awake with a start and start setting goals for the new year in hopes to do better this time. Sometimes we do, but not always.
While I’m not one to make resolutions for myself in the new year, I do choose a word to inspire me. I also am a big goal setter and look forward to working on them throughout the year. Since I’ve been busy creating my goals for next year I thought I’d share some of the books that have motivated me to start the new year off right. They’ve helped me dream bigger dreams, create intentional goals, be more productive and live a fuller life. Here are some of my favorites…
This book was a true eye-opener to me this past year and I am so thankful I discovered this great read! It gave me the courage to let some things go so I could concentrate on my true passions. I felt stuck and unable to move forward in my life, but this book gave me permission to let go of the good things in my life to make room for even greater things. Feeling stuck, too? Let Alli’s story and tips inspire you today.

What can I say? I’m a big Ruth Soukup fan ever since I enrolled in Elite Blog Academy. Although I took pride in my ability to live life “unstuffed” since I didn’t have a cluttered home, the book helped me realize I still had room for improvement. Yes, mind and soul needed decluttering! I felt stressed, overwhelmed and unbalanced before I read this book and used Ruth’s practical tips. If your life needs balance, this book is worth the read.
